Ronald A. Gargano, Principal

Ronald A. Gargano has been the President of Ragland & Associates and Ragland Construction, for the past 40 years. Through his ownership role, he developed more than $100 million in business assets, land development and multi-family residential projects. 

As General partner, he developed apartment and condominium projects. He coordinated with various partner groups and operated the projects from their origination to successful sale. During these projects, he prepared factual proposals for governmental authorities, partners and lenders. He also managed the construction, sales and marketing programs. 

He was Executive Vice President of Crocker & Co. for 15 years and Partner in the office, retail and hotel developments valued at more than $200 million in Florida. He coordinated the acquisition of the properties and prepared the site plans for development. He acted as general contractor for the construction of office buildings, retail and hotel projects. He has years of experience in dealing with national corporate tenants and retail, restaurant and hotel operations.

In addition, he acted as a consultant to equity participants and institutional lenders where he evaluated real estate projects and other operating assets. He has been involved in the financing of more than $800 million worth of real estate projects and business operations.

He served in the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers as operations/intelligence officer. He managed projects and coordinated NATO plans throughout Eastern Europe.

Mr. Gargano’s experience is referenced across a wide array of ventures, including real estate developments, large acreage evaluations, restaurant operations, hotels, retail and manufacturing operations, assisted living facilities, marinas, institutional consultation, and evaluating other operating assets.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. Mr. Gargano is a Certified General Contractor, a Real Estate Broker and Mortgage Broker and a past President of the South Florida NAIOP.
