Job Title: Patient Coordinator/Inside Sales

Department: Sales

Wage/Hour Status: Exempt, Salary + Commission

Summary: Working as a Patient Coordinator/Inside Sales Representative for a confidential medical company offering medical treatment to patients suffering from Sleep Apnea. Responsible for building relationships with patients and walk them through the patient process. Must be able to assess candidacy for treatment, explain insurance coverage, and give financial options. Requires an ability to connect quickly with patients via telephone and stay extremely organized while multi-tasking. Responsible for coordinating patients’ schedules while considering availability of appointments and physicians. Fields all general questions of assigned patients. Distributes necessary information to all patients. 

Reports To: Director of Sales

Supervises: None 

Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for determining a patient’s candidacy for treatment
  2. Subject matter expert for medical company’s patient process
  3. Ability to connect and develop relationship with patients via the telephone
  4. Responsible for assessing, defining, and explaining patient's financial options
  5. Facilitates interaction with clinical staff and outside vendors in locations throughout the country
  6. Coordinates all prospective patients’ schedules
  7. Handles all incoming questions from patients
  8. Verifies patient information- general and medical
  9. Responsible for ensuring patients’ preparedness in treatment process
  10. Inputting patient information and appointments into internal computer program
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree
 
Experience: At least 1-3 years of sales experience
Licensure: None
 
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong computer skills necessary
Sales and customer service experience
Flexible working hours
Detail oriented
